I tried out a couple of other careers before I became a Marriage and Family Therapist, but once I found this path, I knew it was the right one for me. I believe that people can change their lives, change their life-long patterns, and change the ways they relate to themselves and others. I deeply appreciate the opportunity to help people figure out how to make those changes.
I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now the Sophia Institute) in 2005. I work with people experiencing grief, life transitions, and the emotional pain and turmoil, including depression and anxiety, that come with the challenges and difficulties that life gives us.
I’m particularly interested in creativity and resilience and in the extraordinary profusion of ways people find to express themselves, explore their lives, and find meaning in their lives.
My California License Number is 47031.
I’m a member of the State and local chapter of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists).
